Soprano Isabella Stollenmaier is a dynamic and accomplished performer, celebrated for her versatility and depth across operatic and concert repertoire. Praised for her captivating stage presence and rich, expressive voice, Isabella has built a distinguished career that showcases her talent in both classic and contemporary works.

Recent highlights of her career include her portrayal of Wowkle in Puccini’s La Fanciulla del West with North Carolina Opera and her powerful interpretations of Flosshilde and Erda in Wagner’s Das Rheingold, performed under the direction of Luke Housner at the LAHSOW Festival. Isabella’s vocal prowess and dramatic intensity have made her a
standout in roles such as Grimgerde in Die Walküre, Mercedes in Carmen, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Marcellinain Le Nozze di Figaro, and the Second Lady in Die Zauberflöte. Her range and dedication have also led her to cover the iconic role of Carmen, showcasing her readiness to take on complex and demanding parts.

Isabella’s concert and oratorio performances are equally notable. She has been featured as a soloist in Bach’s St. John Passion and Handel’s Messiah with the North Carolina Baroque Orchestra, bringing an authentic and emotive interpretation to these beloved works. Internationally, she has performed as the soloist in Vivaldi’s Gloria in Vienna, Austria, under the esteemed baton of Erwin Ortner with the Arnold Schoenberg Chor, earning accolades for her clear, vibrant tone and musical sensitivity.​
